Frank Monaco Jr. to Join G/S in 2016

Gavin/Solmonese will welcome a veteran Delaware bankruptcy attorney and certified mediator and business bankruptcy specialist to the firm on January 1, 2016.

Frank Monaco will bring his vibrant mediation practice to G/S. He will also work on fiduciary services matters and help originate new casework with a focus on the southeast and nationally.

Frank has nearly 35 years of experience representing a variety of stakeholders in bankruptcy transactions and litigations. He has a proven success rate in reaching settlements in both consensual and court-appointed mediations. His involvement in major cases including Trump Casino, W.R. Grace, Columbia Gas Systems and Continental Airlines has earned him peer recognition and professional achievement. He will retire from his present position leading the Wilmington, DE office of the national law firm Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP at the end of this year to accept a position with our firm as a senior managing director. He has served as managing partner of the firm’s Delaware office, and has served with distinction on the firm’s management committee for the past eight years.
