Saturday was a night to celebrate both our friend and colleague Kara Casteel of ASK LLP and Gavin/Solmonese’s own Jeremy VanEtten. Kara, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Visionary of the Year for Minneapolis, surpassed her fundraising dream with a 10-week total of $198,942. More than half of that amount was raised at Riffs for Remission, the rock and roll fundraising event spearheaded by Jeremy, who received the LLS Team Member of the Year award, having raised more than any team member ever!
“I stand here with a heart overflowing with gratitude.”
“Thank you to everyone who made the Riffs for Remission concert a smashing success! Thank you to Jeremy for jumping in feet first. Thank you to ASK, Gavin/Solmonese, Joe (Steinfeld), Jodi (Steinfeld), Ed (Neiger), Ted (Gavin), and Amy (Gavin) for believing and agreeing to back the event. Your belief in our cause fueled our success. Thank you to all 15 of our sponsors who made the event a success, including presenting sponsors ASK, Gavin/Solmonese, and Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones. And, of course, a huge thank you to the musicians.”
Congratulations to Kara and her Team E-Race-ing Cancer for raising $198,942 of the total $484,124 raised for research, resources, and treatment of blood cancers!
